Greg Autry Speaker Biography
Dr. Greg Autry is an educator, writer, and serial technology entrepreneur. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Southern California where he researches innovation policy and the influences of government on emerging industries. Dr. Autry served on the Presidential NASA Agency Review Team and as the White House Liaison to NASA.
Dr. Autry is the co-author, with Dr. Peter Navarro, of the book Death by China and a producer on the documentary film, Death by China, directed by Navarro and narrated by Martin Sheen. He authored An Analysis of U.S. National Competitive Advantage in Human Orbital Spaceflight Markets, for the FAA Office of Commercial Space Transportation (FAA AST). Dr. Autry’s articles on space, technology, and trade have been published in major news outlets including the San Francisco Chronicle, LA Times, Washington Times, and SpaceNews. He is also a regular Forbes Contributor.
Dr. Autry has twice testified to Congress on Chinese influence and industrial espionage and has also spoken at the Canadian Parliament, the Heritage Foundation, the National Association of Business Economists, The National Press Club, and the AIAA Space conference. He has been a keynote speaker on the economics of cyber espionage at several industry events hosted by FBI Counter Intelligence.
Dr. Autry holds a BA in history from Cal Poly Pomona as well as an MBA and a Ph.D. (public policy and econ) from the Merage School of Business at UC Irvine.
