Ben Nemtin is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of What Do You Want to Do Before You Die? And a star of the MTV show The Buried Life. As the co-founder of The Buried Life movement, Ben’s message of radical possibility has been featured on The Today Show, CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC News, and Oprah, who called Ben and his friends “truly inspiring.” An acclaimed speaker, Ben has keynoted business conferences and corporate leadership teams around the world, garnering standing ovations from Amazon, FedEx, Harvard, Levi’s, Microsoft, Verizon, and more. In 2019 Ben was named in the World’s Top 30 Organizational Culture Professionals by Global Gurus.
It all stems from a battle Ben had with depression over a decade ago. In an attempt to feel more alive, he created the world’s greatest bucket list with his three best friends. They borrowed a rickety old RV and crisscrossed North America, achieving the unthinkable. And most importantly, every time they accomplished a dream, they helped a complete stranger cross something off their bucket list. From playing basketball with President Obama to having a beer with Prince Harry, from reuniting a father and son after seventeen years to surprising a girl with a much-needed bionic arm—Ben’s bucket list quest has inspired millions to realize their true potential.

New Leadership: Why You Matter
An organization can only become the-best-version-of-itself to the extent that its employees are becoming better-versions-of-themselves. Proving that you care enough to ask your people what matters most to them goes a long way, and it’s easier than you think to help them get there.
Ben brings home the importance of pursuing a bucket list, not only for your own wellbeing but also for your career and for those around you. Ben facilitates goal sharing and inspires people into action through masterful storytelling and by implementing tiers of accountability to drive them towards their goals.
As a result of this program, attendees will:
• Understand that your organization deeply cares about them, personally and professionally.
• Learn how to implement tiers of accountability around personal goals.
• Identify the most important dreams in their life and take actionable steps toward them.
• Leverage their purpose to propel their performance.
Rethinking Mental Health
Ben is a mental health advocate who believes that all humans have ups and they have downs. He believes the stigma around mental illness can be broken through open, honest conversations. However, the onus is not on the 1 in 5 who struggle with mental health to break the stigma, the responsibility falls on all of us.
By showing how his vulnerabilities have become his strengths, Ben gives others the courage to talk about their internal battles. He shares the tools that help him cope with the stresses of life and emphasizes that it is ok to reach out for help.
As a result of this program, attendees will:
• Increase resilience, lower stress, and feel equipped to manage the ups and downs of life.
• Build their own ‘Mental Health Toolkit’ of easy-to-implement practices that increase wellbeing during times of anxiety and burnout.
• Recognize that it’s ok to not be ok.
• Walk away with resources to boost their mental health.
Community Of Service
“It is the power of giving, compassion, and hope that will get us through hard times.” Ben has experienced this first hand. He has helped hundreds of people accomplish their dreams over the past 15 years and this feeling of connectedness and purpose has fueled him through feelings of uncertainty.
Ben shares touching stories of helping others to not only inspire but also offer insight that can improve our daily life and our work environment. A culture of service can unlock potential and align team members in the workplace and in their communities. And contrary to popular belief, helping others doesn’t always have to be a selfless act. Giving can actually help us in more ways than we think.
Be Unstoppable
The fear of rejection can hold you back. Our natural tendency is to avoid it at all costs which can be detrimental to our businesses, careers, and lives. In 2006, to face his fears, Ben Nemtin started an experiment with three of his best friends: attempt 100 of his wildest dreams. The result became the basis of his #1 New York Times bestselling book, an MTV show and a movement that inspired millions around the world. In this engaging keynote, Ben shares stories from his incredible journey and teaches audiences how to become unstoppable, the power of moonshots and micro-habits that fuel performance.
Micro Shift to Success
The natural impulse to reach our potential is to attempt giant steps to improve, however, large steps often lead to failure or temporary gains. The key to permanent change is in micro habits and micro shifts in mindset. After committing to a series of positive life changes, Ben had a shift in perspective that changed his outlook on life and opened himself up to endless possibilities. Ben focuses on micro habits, how they work, and how small shifts in our mindset can multiply over time. This energizing keynote leaves audiences with practical strategies they can immediately apply in their personal and professional lives.
Activations to Enhance the Keynote Experience
List Writing Workshop
Ben’s 30-minute list writing workshop puts the '5 Steps to Making the Impossible Possible' into action. Inspiration doesn’t come to us, we must create inspiration by taking steps toward our goals and this workshop does exactly that. The breakout session includes writing your list, identifying the most important item on your list, dream sharing with an accountability partner and helping one another reach our goals in intimate group settings. These steps are designed to build accountability around personal goals, to generate inspiration by stimulating small actionable steps and to illustrate that help might just be sitting right next to you. This breakout session can be added to any keynote.
Mental Wealth Toolkit
Ben’s 60-minute workshop goes through the mental tools he uses every day to stay positive, help others in need, and live his best life. This short workshop is transformational to those who want to take the next step in elevating their team’s mental wellness.
Dream Wall
A “Dream Wall” (or “Before I Die Wall”) is a popular pre-keynote activation. The walls come in many forms, shapes, and sizes but they all serve the same purpose: to get people thinking about their list leading up to Ben’s presentation. A “Dream Wall” is a place for attendees to write, stick, clip or post their bucket list item on a wall for everyone to see. This dynamic visual doesn’t just get people talking, it’s also a fantastic way to learn about the folks around you. It’s common for organizations to secretly choose a few bucket list items to check off and announce this after Ben’s presentation.
Dream Portraits
Dream portraits are a popular post-keynote activation. In his keynote, Ben helps attendees identify the #1 item on their bucket list (the personal goal they want more than anything in the world) and a dream portrait helps them share this goal in a memorable way.
After Ben’s presentation, audience members write their biggest goal on a small chalkboard and a professional photographer takes a beautiful portrait that can be shared instantly.
This not only memorializes the keynote experience and the goal, but it also builds further accountability through sharing on social media.
